Return Policy

One of our main goals is to keep prices affordable. So for that to happen - we have to have a reasonable return policy!

Brick & Mortar Policy:

Full Refund: Items with tags attached may be returned or exchanged within 14 days of purchase. Items must not have animal hair, scent of smoke of any kind or look worn. No exceptions. 

Store Credit: Items returned within day 15 and within 30 days of purchase will receive store credit. Items must not have animal hair, scent of smoke of any kind or look worn.  

Non-Returnable Items:

  • All furniture pieces are FINAL SALE
  • All Home Decor is FINAL SALE
  • All vendor items are FINAL SALE
  • Clearance, sale items or items purchased with a coupon code are FINAL SALE
  • Earrings, hats and water bottles are FINAL SALE

How to Return An Item:

If the item(s) are returned without tags, is a non-returnable item(s) as stated above, or not as described by the customer, then we will have to reject the return. 

Order Errors/Damaged Items: We will pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error or if you received an incorrect or defective item(s). All original tags must still be attached. If the tags are not attached, then it is not returnable and will be rejected. You have 3 days from the day the order was received to report it as being damaged. We will not accept any error/damaged item(s) after this 3 day period for return. NO EXCEPTIONS. Our goal is to keep items affordable. By adhering to our policies and guidelines, you make that possible!

Exchanges: Due to the high turnover of items, we cannot guarantee exchanges will always be possible. You will receive store credit if an exchange is not available. Store credit is for the purchase price of the item(s) exchanged only plus MI Sales Tax of 6% (if applicable), shipping charges WILL NOY BE REFUNDED. IF you request your item be shipped, you will be charged for the shipping costs.

Additional notes: All returns must be credited to the original account used to purchase the item(s). (Example: If you received an item that was a gift, the return must be posted to the purchaser's account). Returns are processed within 7-10 business days after you send the item(s) back. We highly recommend using a traceable carrier with tracking number.

COMMENT SOLD RETURN POLICY:

Return Policy &  Process 

When returning an item, please take note of the following as we remain firm on our return policy with all of our customers. There will be No Exceptions.

Shipping will not be refunded on any returned items & return shipping cost is the responsibility of the customer when shipping items back to us.

We do not need to be notified of any return(s) prior to sending them to us. We DO NOT offer refunds, STORE CREDIT ONLY. No exceptions. Store credit will be applied.

Please note, you may elect In Store Credit (brick and mortar credit) or Comment Sold Credit upon return. Store credit never expires. Store credit will be given for the purchase plus any sales tax that was paid (if discount was given, we will only return the amount you paid + sales tax). Discount will not be given on new items for exchange if said discount is expired. 

Returns must be received in original, unused condition with tags ATTACHED and a copy of the original packing slip. If you cannot locate the original invoice, please print and include a copy of the order confirmation emailed to you. Returns received without supporting documentation could be delayed in receiving store credit.

Returns must be post marked within 15 days of the date you received your shipment. No exceptions. Any returns postmarked after 15 days of the date you received your package could be rejected.

CLEARANCE, ACCESSORIES & HOME GOODS ARE FINAL SALE AND NON-RETURNABLE. WE ENFORCE THIS POLICY STRICTLY AND STORE CREDIT WILL NOT BE GIVEN FOR THESE ITEMS.

Due to high order volume, we do not process exchanges.

If an item has any stains, smells of any type of smoke, perfume or deodorant, animal hair or any appearance of being worn, we will reject the item for return. Store credit is issued within 5 business days of the item being returned to our store.

You will be notified via email that store credit has been issued, along with instructions on how to redeem your credit. It will be located when you checkout, USE STORE CREDIT, under payment method.

ANY ITEMS REJECTED FOR A RETURN WILL REQUIRE RESHIPPING FEE. IF WE DO NOT RECEIVE THE RESHIP FEE WITHIN 7 DAYS, YOU MAY PICKUP YOUR ITEMS AT OUR STORE OR THE ITEM WILL BE DONATED TO CHARITY.

Holiday Collection must be returned/received by December 14th for Store Credit. No exceptions due to the Holiday Line ending.

 

DEFECTIVE OR DAMAGED MERCHANDISE:

Please inspect your order immediately upon receiving. If you believe you have received defective or damaged merchandise, you MUST contact us within 3 days of receipt. No exceptions. If we do not receive notification that you have received a damaged item in 3 days, the return will be rejected for any store credit. Please use your phone to take pictures of the damaged items and email the images to info@silochic.com, including the tag in the image showing it is still attached. INDICATE DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE IN THE SUBJECT LINE OF YOUR EMAIL. INCLUDE YOUR FIRST AND LAST NAME THAT WAS USED ON YOUR ORDER AND ORDER #. You will receive a response from us within 24 business hours.
